Central Virginia Alliance for Community Living, Inc. is accepting applications for a full-time Bedford Ride Coordinator. The position will coordinate the activities of the Bedford Ride Program; a program utilizing volunteers to offer transportation for medical care. Applicants must possess a High School Diploma or GED. Experience in clerical skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office software is required. Applicants must have strong communication skills, both oral and written, and excellent interpersonal skills. An applicant will have the ability to work effectively with volunteers, individuals served, and outside business contacts. Experience in coordinating and working with volunteers as well as experience and knowledge of the issues related to older adults and individuals with disabilities is preferred. The position will require utilization of an internal data collection program to enter data and may be responsible for program reporting. Candidates will be required to participate in a drug screen; must agree to a criminal background check; possess a valid driver's license; and present with a satisfactory DMV report.
